We did but we are a legacy family. They made it clear that they make these calls to legacy families only ahead of the official decisions release date. Hang on tight and best of luck to m your daughter !

Here is the party line if someone puts you on the spot with an acceptance call to test you:
Kid is not to answer phone calls on any device. Period.
Parents answer, gush that your kid will be soooooo excited and you can wait to share this great news with them when they get home. You can’t answer for them—that would rob them of their moment that they’ve worked hard for. But you know this is THE news they have been waiting for!! You are sure they will accept, but can’t speak for them.
Then wait it out.
