Outbreak is how they found out they have it. But they were dormant for 3 years.
What are the risks for oral and PIV?

There is a reason why a standard std panel doesn't test for HSV.
No. We're not all herpetic whores. That's just a slut thing. Sorry, not sorry.
So you're just a dumb whore?
I'm not a whore at all. That's the point. Only whores get the herp. Do try to keep up. If you are unable, maybe sit this one out, trollop.
Just when I think we’re not in the dark ages anymore…
PP will surely live long enough to have to shed some ignorant and puritanical beliefs. My BFF got it from her second BF at age 23 who she dated for 3 years. Maybe PP is the “no sex outside of marriage” freak?
So she should have been more cautious. Asked him to test and take anti virals . She seems reckless

Maybe I have more anxiety than most people but I haven’t been with that many people but i’ve always been tested after a relationship ends and require testing from the other person before sleeping with them (and I obviously get tested too since i’m asking them-even though I had been tested after the last encounter already).
Are there really people out there who don’t care if they are walking around with this and don’t know?
It's hard for me to comprehend as well. I'm also testing in between partners for everything and certainly know my and my partner's STD status, including HSV2. I don't understand why anyone would allow a stranger between their sheets with a lower screening standard than tenant history to rent an apartment?
And people who are positive for HSV2 DO know it. They would just start telling "everyone has it"; "CDC doesn't recommend" it. Often men feel like not using condoms even when they have HSV2.
So you sleep w a lot of men and get treated a lot then?
You know for a full clean bill of health you get tested and then wait 6 weeks and get tested again, right? That’s what you do right.
And you sleep w so many men but not that hsv2 ones so how would you know that they don’t feel like using condoms when they have sex?
Not liking something and doing it to protect your partner are two separate things. But you knew that.

And that tests have a pretty high false negative rate. Meaning even if you get tested for it - if you affirmatively ask for it because it’s not on the standard panel - the results aren’t necessarily conclusive.
