That’s not how it works. If they sign tonight, just go to work in the morning. The four hours is if he signs at 8 am

Did they send it to the government email addresses? Because that's what happened in another Department.

If Trump signs a funding bill at 12:01 am on Thursday, the next business day would be Friday. However, I would report on Thursday.
If the business day has not begun yet on Thursday when Trump signs, wouldn’t Thursday be the first business day after the lapse ends?
No. The day the lapse ends is day zero. It doesn’t matter when it ends (ie, 12:01 am or 11:59pm); that entire calendar day is day zero. We’ve been told to report on day zero +1.
If we are measuring by business days though maybe we should consider actual business hours as well. So if the lapse ends at 10pm we have a full business day before we have to report.
lapse ended- 10pm - day 1
Full business day - day 2
Report beginning of business day - day 3
This isn’t how it works. I mean, I wish! But in 2013, Obama signed the bill to end the shutdown after midnight, and we were required to report to work that day. I remember getting my ‘back to work today’ text at 4:14 am.

Will they be offering VERA next year??? I'm ready to get off this crazy train.

I vaguely remember another very short shutdown - just a couple of hours - due to someone filibustering something. The president didn’t sign the cr until 10 am or something like that. There was a whole flurry of emails about when we had to come in and what to do with our
Timesheets for those extra 1-2 hours we weren’t supposed to be working that am.
My boss asked us to all hang out in the office and not touch our computers until the President signed.

Yes but PANIC SETS IN
Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, Todd Blanche, and others, plan on holding an EMERGENCY MEETING today on the Epstein Files as the discharge vote nears.
Rep. Boebert will reportedly be there.
It appears there is an all hands on deck effort to try to prevent a vote on the Epstein Files. [/quote
Very interesting
