You sound like a ghoul.
Sorry not everyone's a bleeding heart like you
Where do you want the money to go? YOU?
Maybe it should go to building up this country. You know... the country that allowed him to make those 200 billion dollars. He's helping to siphon all the wealth he's made here to go to the third world to be squandered. The problem with these billionaires is they're all internationalists who have zero loyalties to the culture and nation that allowed them to be successful.
Ooh... you're a MAGA xenophobe. Got it. No, PP. African nations need the help a lot more than people here, even poor Americans. We don't have active and uncontrolled malaria here, or AIDS-infected people on every corner.
A leftie forever but I have worked in many African countries, and China is slowly and steadily colonizing them with medical care, infrastructure, and manufacturing. They promise jobs to the grifting politicians, but bring in Chinese labor. Gates is all that stands against Africa being completely controlled by the Chinese.
The Africans in many countries take Chinese money but hate them to the core. The more they meet the Chinese, the more the hate deepens. China will spend trillions in Africa and get nothing but fake smiles and hate from Africans.
The Chinese do nothing that doesn’t serve themselves. If they give a dollar, it’s because they expect to get ten in return. Or military power or resources or something else. Nobody thinks think they’re being nice and donating money to help anyone but themselves.
Well, it does appear to be working if "working" is public perceptions of China in low/middle income countries. https://www.pewresearch.org/global/2024/07/09/views-of-china-and-xi-jinping/

China isn't colonizing. They come in, grease a few palms, extract whatever they want with foreign workers, and then disappear.

Hasn't he learned from the mistakes of countless others who donated to Africa only to have the money disappear into a black hole by corrupt politicians and warlords?
