Lots of people love their children without being religious.
Good - I'm glad there is no disagreement with the fact that people can love their children without being religious. THere's no reason why love would have anything to do with believing in God
No one said that love had anything to do with believing in God.
Do you think you can believe in God without being a loving person?
Sure. The only thing you can't do as a non-loving person is love. You can do everything self and what you can't do, you can fake. People fake love all the time. They can also fake being religious.

Ya know, if I did not believe in life after death, I think I'd value being as happy as possible in this current life.
I suppose I'd be happier too if I really thought I would live forever after I died.
But I just can't believe that Jesus rose from the dead and died for my sins and can't imagine going to church once a week with people who say they believe that.
NP. Then don't. Move on.
