All the characters in season 2 suck. The storyline is dumb and boring. Forced myself to watch 2 or 3 episodes but can’t watch anymore.

Finding this thread was tough.

Season 2 has dropped on Netflix! Good reviews on rotten tomatoes

And then the final two episodes drive this home and Alice comes clean to everyone, late Danny does, and then finally episode 10 reiterates it (but was unnecessary).

Paul never lied though.

They drive this theme home big time.

Lies destroy.

if you listen to Ali Wong comedy, she tells similar stories of random sex

As in the sexy petite Asian fetish trope? Or claims she was that and loose?

She was so short in the movie when standing the camera would be zoomed out.

I kept waiting for something dark or calculating to be revealed about George but it’s also funny that he’s just that basic

I loved it all until episodes 7-10. The multiple time jumps were too much and the dark weirdness went from believable (or and plausible enough) to unbelievable. Maybe that’s also some of the tone change others are flagging that appeared in the end.

Great acting all around by the whole cast

That was the weirdest scene in the whole thing for me. Was it meant to imply she was sexually abused as a child?

I took it to mean that her dad’s infidelity traumatized her in a way that showed up as sexual kink in her college years to work through it. But the kink they showed is pretty extreme for run of the mill dad issues/male affirmation issues.
And then I wasnt sure what to make of her saying her intimate life with her husband was vanilla. Was that because she was unhappy and without destressing outlets in general?
The one thing I did understand was the hookups with Paul - who among us would decline that beautiful man ha.
