However, it also seems like C Cooper was spoiling for a fight. Sounds like the guy is sick and tired of it and has developed his own tactics that leave a lot to be desired. For example, saying “you won’t like what I’m going to do” while trying to call the dog away from her, was clearly designed to upset or even frighten. He says as much in his post. I do wonder if this guy would have behaved the same way to another large guy in the park or if A Cooper seemed like a safe enough target for his lesson. Either way he scolds her, she ignores him, he persists, she does too, then the next thing you know he’s making a weird threat that I would definitely think was basically “I’ll give your dog treats to get it to me then steal it”. I mean, again he posts himself that he carried treats for that very reason, basically that dog owners freak out and leash the dog. So as a PP said, it was only a matter of time until someone reacted poorly. So this woman then proceeds to show her true colors and leverage the “scary black man” / while woman power play. Weather frightened or not, she did that, and it’s hard to believe she was that frightened if she was walking toward him at one point (with her dog at hand) and also not running like hell to get away. I think she was outraged that he scolded her and fearful that he was going to dog-nap her dog. Then there is the mob justice and doxxing her, which I don’t like for any reason but here it happened without even acknowledging that maybe — just maybe — this bird watcher was being an asshole and then she saw his asshole and raised it by an awful, racist and dangerous response. Someone else might have just punched him in the face. Countless others no doubt walked or ran away in the past. I’m not sure what anyone had gained through this story though. Then his sister using the term “Karen” which is just divisive - intentionally so.

I can’t find any heroes in this story.

You are also a White person who is struggling to reconcile your racist wiring with the evidence of the video. How do you sleep at night?

NP - I don't understand why disagreeing with his tactics makes someone racist. It is not dismissing her behavior in anyway.

Basically now what? Only reason women called cops was she was not large enough to do much else. Yes she way over reacted but Mr Harvard knew NYC allows video taping without consent and used it to his advantage to not stop filling as it esculated.

Would like to see if he would have provoked me when I was younger. I would have broken his smart phone and stomped on it back in day. Plus in 1980s I always carried a knife as in NYC you never knew. Flash forward to 2020 and twinkle toes out birdwatching is enforcing leash laws. How sad. NYC does not need spoiled white girls and bird watchers fighting it out

Well there is a lot to unpack here, but one flaw in your analogy - your drinking a beer on a bench doesn't really impact anyone else unless you become publicly drunk. Letting a dog run loose in the Ramble impacts bushes, wildlife and others. Which is why he intervened. Whether his tactics of baiting the dog or filming are appropriate means is a separate issue.

Let's try that again. You're a black man sitting on a bench drinking a beer. A white woman comes up and tells you to stop. She offers you a soda to stop drinking your beer. She starts filming you.

Guess what the outcome is? She doesn't give in, because she's not doing anything wrong. But she's white, and she's filming you, so you meekly put your beer back in your paper bag.

Or, assume you're a white man and a white man comes up to you, offers you a soda, and starts filming you. Same outcome: you meekly put your beer away.

She was wrong. Clearly so. But maybe the vengeance mob could chill out ?

I think she could stand to pay more. She is racist and an entitled dog owner who doesn’t obey leash laws, which protect others if her dog tries to bite them. She thinks other people’s safety doesn’t matter which makes her a sociopath. People like this never change and imo she doesn’t deserve to live.

I’m on this thread to push back at the racists and homophobes. Like the 6’2” white guy above who is musing about shivving the “twinkle toes” black gay birdwatcher, because now the birdwatcher has to pay too or something.

So true. Racists minds are blown because they cannot accept the truth. They have to make excuses - again and again, loudly and vehemently. The racist cops on the other hand have gone a murderous rampage against Blacks in retaliation.

The racist psycho Amy Cooper has done this kind of shit before. She spoiled the reputation of a married man who was not interested in her romantically by claiming that he had a relationship with her. This man is happily married to his girlfriend and has a baby.

A liar and a disturbed individual. And of course a Republican Trumper.

Could it be that she is angry because she is rejected by romantic partners? Could it be that romantic partners reject her because she is batshit crazy?

Does Christian have a partner? He is smart, well-spoken, and what a body! Have you seen his ripped arms? Who wouldn't want to go out with him?
