Not even close to the same thing. Those teams are playing a bunch of college players and vets trying to make a roster.

The local girls soccer teams don't bring in 50 players and play a bunch of pre-season games to fill out the bottom half of a roster.

These teams MAY have a handful of players, AT MOST, different from last season. MU didn't bring in much and trimmed a handful OFF the roster. RU roster looks similar to last season as well. FCV added a a few at some age groups, lost a few.

This is not the BILLION dollar NFL we are talking about, it is pre-season where new formations (same players), depth at positions (same players), conditioning (same players) and more are being worked on.

The only thing different is some may be on vacation, as appears to be the case with MU this past weekend.

Agreed VDA is a dumpster fire. Their 05 and 06 teams will take a step back this year.

RU blew MU out in every game but 05. What it says is that MU 05 is a good team and will make some noise this year. VDA is next. MU beat them by a score of 1-0 in February and MU is much improved since then.
