Figure it out and enter thru the other classroom door, ambush him from the front while another officer enters the 2nd unlocked door and ambushes from the back. Remember a lot of those kids were of mixed race. I bet that had a lot to do with the police hesitancy to risk anything.

I'm not talking about the actions of the police on that day. It is weird as hell, but cops have been drilled into their heads that their ONLY priority is "going home at the end of the day to see your family." This lack of action for an hour is the logical outcome of that training.

I'm referring more to the cover-up, attacking anyone who questions the Mayor's and local PD's narrative, the silencing of any discussion that blames access to military-grade firearms, and re-electing the same GOP loons over and over again in Texas who enable this crap. That's the identity politics at work.
