Why does that one post look like they are about to throw her book in the pool?

Does anyone follow @jane on Instagram? She's part Mormon mom blogger and part Utah mom parody. Her "influencers on Prime Day" had me in stitches.

Stop what you’re doing and go read the last paragraph of her latest post. My eyes have completely rolled into the back of my head. I can’t, I just can’t….this woman is just eternally insufferable.

She’s getting a lot of positive comments too. She will focus on those.

I feel like she does Prime Days/Amazon every year and quite literally everything she posts and what she's about and how she moves in the world aligns exactly with her doing this lol

The last time she had this negative feedback was when she was talking about going on that show about Weight Watchers. and then remember how she got on there and she was all like “I have done the work and I have asked the hard questions and the only reason I’m doing this is because I am confident that I can stand in front of you and tell you that I believe in this with all my heart.” How long until she does a follow up post addressing all of the people who have concerns about Amazon?

The Prime day post just irritated 80% of her current tribe. And they are letting her know.

She is so gross. Shoutout to those who can’t help anyone unless they can film it, post it, and write a 3-paragraph caption about how humble they are. You’re the real MVP, Jen.

Her latest post regarding the situation with Amazon is a reminder of how quickly public figures can fall from grace when there's a gap between what they say and what they do. Whether the label of “hypocrite” is fair or not, it speaks to the public’s desire for authenticity and accountability. She is a hypocrite. No question.

Literally impossible for her. If she does good works, everyone must know about it. She lives for the head pats.

On the post where she is offering her “me course” on grief, there were so many comments like, “this, this is why we love you, Jen: your Christ-like spirit and heart for the hurting. You are such a follower of Christ. You are truly showing the love of Christ. Bless you, Jen…”

Maybe I’m judging, but Jen Hatmaker is not someone that I think of when I think of “Christ-like love.” She thinks that she’s showing love by giving a queer kid a hug at a pride parade. I don’t know if Jesus would’ve done that or not, but I do know for sure that he would not speak so hatefully to her children, and he would not exploit overweight people, or national tragedy, or veterans who are just trying to eat lunch in peace for clicks and engagement.

And I’m pretty sure that same Christ said something like you are supposed to meet the needs of people and not make a big deal about it and not let everybody know what it is that you’re doing because you’re not gonna get any reward in heaven if everybody’s giving you accolades here on earth.

Both she and Tyler attempt to put on this positive veneer but they're both actually very toxic and negative and weirdly energized by whatever they perceive as the next catastrophe. It's like they live for bad things to happen so they can make content from it.

I still find Jen sort of likeable, although the influencer shill is sad to watch. The crying on camera was a new low and it is hard to see how far she has fallen. Her "boyfriend" on the other hand, is just grating. A childless fiftysomething year old dude with theater kid energy is qualified to speak to how to navigate the tragic deaths of children in Texas? Just how? He's so offensive.

It's like they scan the news for tragedy and then say "I'm up."
