I would agree it’s dumb shit if she hadn’t made the comment right on the heels of a tabloid story a couple months ago about Jennifer considering a surrogate with Ben for more kids.. Perhaps this was also the last straw for separation.

Nobody asked or cared about Garner’s fertility and her ease getting pregnant by Ben but she made the comment at a very awkward time

Jen G. is a little too "for the sake of my kids' father" with him. Although it sounds funny, she's too sympathetic toward him. He is making all of his life choices without her, she doesn't need to hop in when their are consequences. Ben has other people in his life who care about him. She needs to draw boundaries in her dealings with Ben to protect her kids too. They need someone outside of the storm.

Both women are past having children without a donor egg, unless they have eggs frozen.

The last few pages have actually made me respect JLo a bit more, though I do feel sorry for her and think she's made some terrible choices.

I doubt either she or Ben will find true happiness, for different reasons. But if I had to predict their futures, I'd say that she will continue her pattern of working hard, looking good, and desperately chasing --and losing-- love. She's not emotionally healthy, but she believes in herself and what she wants and she's disciplined. She'll keep going until the end. Ben I fear will circle the drain and die too young.

He says he spent years and years figuring out the game that the cafe banned him because he kept winning so much or calling bluffs and giving good advice to others. He even considered suing to get back in. This is insane addict behavior

Agree but no one thought the movie would get great reviews. No studio would touch it which is why she had to fund it all herself. It is essentially a music video with a few scenes that are not music interspersed in. Those are never going to do well. But No one was saying JLO’s album that the movie is based on as a masterpiece. She even said it herself in the documentary, “no one is asking for an album from JLO I’m doing this for myself” (wish I actually found surprisingly astute for her to admit).

So it’s not like it was surprise it was a flop. The sad thing is, I think Ben really loved her - that’s why he allowed himself to be part of this even though everyone, and I mean, absolutely everyone, told her this was a bad idea. He obviously knew it, but he went along with it because he loved her that’s why it’s so sad that they can’t make it work. But they clearly cannot make it work.
