Most people in the world adapted long ago to high energy prices and drive much smaller, more energy-efficient vehicles. Americans, on the other hand, will ride into the future kicking and screaming before they give up their gas guzzlers. But it’s going to happen eventually…whether they like to or not. Nothing lasts Forever, including ample supplies of gas and low gas prices.

You think Americans have it bad? I’m in Greece visiting family. Gas is $9 a gallon and the average salary is below $1000 a month (before taxes). Guess that’s Joe Biden’s fault as well.

I can't afford an ev either and am not rich. I combine trips and drive less overall. I was under no illusion that gas prices would remain the same. Why does it seem like so many people never saw this coming? It's puzzling.
