At most ages the RL team is stronger than any 1st teams in the area so not exactly accurate. Most Potomac 1s would get blown out by BSC 2, for example, so I guess it depends what you’re referring to.

Know kids who were accepted at ECNL age for second teams. They are third team kids at best in a large program

Agree. The 1st team keeps the talent. The RL teams are good but don’t get to choose the top top players.

Coaching… they mostly care about their 1 team and pay less attention as you love down to 2 and lower… the better players from lower teams are asked to help out the higher teams, but everyone else - meh

I have no idea how many they took but I would agree with none.Those alliances are merely face saving marketing endeavors for the lack of socioeconomic diversity on ther top teams in MoCo. Time will tell if their is a true commitment to nurture talent that can shell out what the average BSC family does to make it on to these top MLSN/ECNL teams. Not an environment I'd never recommend for any family not making min. 300-500k a year
