From the FCPS website: “High Schools: When a boundary adjustment occurs at the high school level, attendance in the new school boundary shall be mandatory for incoming 9th grade students. Rising 10th-12th graders shall be given the option to remain at their current school or attend the school in the new boundary.”

Anonymous wrote:Opening a new high school 10 1/2 months from now seems awfully aggressive. And don't we have an enormous teacher shortage? Finding 100 or so teachers for even 9th and 10th grades seems impossible. Maybe they start with 9th grade only at KAA?
