Eh…. Credit to Bullis for the Haverford and Spalding wins, but those wins are looking less and less significant every week. We really won’t know more about Bullis until they play Landon on 4/17. Their schedule until then is a bunch of cupcakes. Though I won’t be shocked if EHS gives them a scare.

EHS is the gut check?!? The only scare there is that the Bullis goalie will be caught asleep on the live stream.

We’ll see. Bullis is better, but EHS usually sneaks up on someone every year.

Any team can have an off game or two, but Landon and GP - with their equally tough schedules - are much more likely to test Bullis than Episcopal, who won some puff games in the South and got shellacked by PVI.

Philly overall has better lacrosse.

Tougher type of kid.

So far this season, Haverford has lost to Bullis, Loyola and Gilman (in a scrimmage). I wouldn’t group them with Episcopal.

They lost to Delbarton as well, but agree they would likely handle Episcopal.

Episcopal (VA) 5 - 1 @ 4:30p St Annes-Belfield (VA) 5 - 2.
Different games against a like opponent provide the spread. EP +5

Langley (VA) 1 - 1 @ 4:00p DeMatha 2 - 5
Always interesting when a good public takes on a low private. DM -3

St Johns Catholic Prep 1 - 1 @ 4:30p St James 0 - 0
St. James starts the season and has some commits. -3

Gonzaga 1 - 5 @ 7:00p Georgetown Prep 4 - 1
GP just has more and better players. GP -4

Langley lost their top scorer for the season due to injury and their defense is very young. DeMatha will win by a lot.

Malvern, EA, and Haverford would shit on the teams from the IAC / WCAC this year.

That loss wasn't on fogo. Fogo was over 60% against Hill.

They have a goalie going to Penn State too.

The goalie appears to be the highest rated 2027 recruit on the team. Is the FOGO a walk-on commit, partial scholarship commit or what?

they have a pole that is considered a top 10 player. The goalie is ok.

Exactly. This will all work itself out in time. In the meantime, ripping a kid on an anonymous board is unhelpful and silly.

"Unhelpful and silly" is charitable at best. Creepy, pathetic and indicative of a seriously damaged psychology is more accurate.

Agree, absolutely no reason to be singling out high school boys. It’s pathetic.

Agreed. Episcopal Academy head coach is the former Cabrini coach, and shows how good coaching can really help transform any program. Hard to find in most High School settings though.
