An Alabama woman married to an Iranian immigrant says her family regrets supporting President Donald Trump and his aggressive immigration policies after ICE detained her husband over the weekend as part of a recent round-up of Iranian nationals.
Gardner’s husband, Ribvar Karimi, was one of 11 Iranian nationals arrested Sunday and taken into the custody of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The Department of Homeland Security claimed the arrests reflect its “commitment to keeping known and suspected terrorists out of American communities.”

What would she have said if, say, her cervix had dilated and she had a pregnancy where the fetus was still alive but had to walk around waiting to become septic before she could be treated? Would she say that also would not be an abortion?

Exactly. It is an abortion. It is medically necessary though even some republicans believe a ectopic pregnancy can be saved. It is definitely not a miscarriage.


How was this abortion possible?
Who requested and who sanctioned this his abortion?
What are the criteria to get approval if needed? What percentage of people in a similar situation get that same opportunity?

She is just using the Republicans’ well oiled argument “my _____ is not _____” as in MY abortion is not an abortion, MY Medicaid is not welfare, MY undocumented farm worker is not an illegal and so on. She is as disgusting as the millions who use that argument and keep voting GOP. This thread is just about the few who FO but we are all stuck with the consequences of their votes
