My personal favorite was Buttigieg. (I suppose we'll see trolls saying that not choosing him was a sign of homophobia.) But at the end of the day, Walz does a great job of reinforcing the themes Harris will need to sell in order to get elected; and he seems to be a well-liked Governor, winning by 8% during the "red wave" year of 2022.
To be clear, one of the reasons Pete wasn’t chosen IS because of his sexual orientation. It’s as much a liability as antisemitism against shapiro. Both forms of intolerance are gross.
