Good stuff. I didn’t know the creator/writer is married to Madison, Kate’s “maid of honor.” Paraphrasing: Kevin and Madison are not going to happen!
I could tell they weren't going to happen just by Kevin's reaction to her at the wedding. She's got an annoying personality.
You’re missing the point. The writer wrote that reaction so his real-life wife wouldn’t be fake-making out with Kevin. "Of course I had to write the part where she flirts with Kevin, the handsomest guy in the world," Fogelman jokes. "It's never going to happen again!"

She was fine when she referred to the three of them as their girls, so she wasn’t upset about being seen as part of the family. So why did that comment trigger her? She immediately glared at Randall and then bashed their car. I get that it would be difficult for a nonbio kid to hear that they look like a parent, but why take it out on Randall and Beth? Did I miss something?

I feel confident that it is someone they are both angry at/hurt by. Some people are speculating it's Beth, who is sick, or something like that - no, I don't think it's Beth that they need to see. It's someone who has done something unforgivable, IMO.
This!
I'm here too
My guess is they are going to see Deja in jail.
Anonymous wrote:I don't think this is Deja doing something horrible. This show is pro-adoption/foster and I can't imagine them bringing in that narrative.

It occurred to me as I was reading this that the writers have a limited amount of time to add any backstory from the kids' childhood. The child actors are going to grow and change so fast, especially the youngest ones, that there is a short window to film those scenes.

I wanted to see more of the rest of the Pearson clan and instead, it was 99% about Deja and her mom. The other story lines following Jack's death weren't advanced at all.
+ 1 The imaginary vows renewal was OTT and just plain dumb.
