I just want to add I personally know a baby born who tested positive for COCAINE and she wasn't taken away. The mother did have to have some CPS follow ups but unfortunately drugs in the system don't mean automatic loss of custody.

Which is beyond bizzare that a judge allowed the proof of the card to be applied retroactively to the case. She didn't get the card till the late Spring and Ensley was born in January. Jenelle also tested positive for pot several other times during the investigation. This girl gets a million chances and she's still a POS.

And for the PP that doesn't believe the story, the court docs for Kasier's case are all online. Along with a new interview with Barb where she says that all of this is true and is why Jenelle bailed at the last minute in the Jace case and agreed to mediation. MTV also filmed Barb telling Jenelle's friend Jamie about the drugs and Ensely after the court case. But of course they won't air that...

So Barb says the state DID contact her after Ensley was born because the baby was positive for drugs. That is why the court case was so contentious last May, all of those issues were discussed.

Janelle would have 100% turned around and said if you have a document showing the baby had drugs in her system, produce them now because it isn't true. Have you ever seen her not deny something she claims isn't true? (She claims things aren't true when they are true...so she certainly would claim something wasn't true if she believed it wasn't.) She's said nothing because it is true. I read that Barbara ended up winning that hearing with Jace because of the drugs in the baby's system issue. I remember Dr. Drew (who annoys me) said that many teen moms have another baby while they are still teens. This is true of many all of them:

Leah (three kids, two different dads, divorced 2x)
Briana (two kids, two different dads)
Janelle (three kids, three dads, engaged numerous times)
Kailyn (three kids, three dads, divorced 1x)

Chelsea (not true of her, second kid wasn't when she was a teen) - not really true of Maci either, though she did have two very close together after she got married = not really true of Farrah either (but she's a different kind of a mess) & not true of Caitlyn (second kid with Tyler while married and not a teen)

I feel like Chelsea is the only normal one. She seems much more out together than the rest of the them.

Let's rent a house so I can throw myself a baby shower, invite my ex and his friend (because we are cool and he WANTED to come!) invite my current baby-daddy and his posse (because guys apparently love a Saturday Shower - who knew!) and then pout and hide upstairs!

The after shower scene in the restaurant was awful. She tells her family they are broken up, he cheated, she wanted to do adoption, he refused and she knows she's going o be stuck raising another kid all by herself. She starts crying and nova then cuddles into her, having heard all this yet again. I feel really bad for nova.

I also finally watched this weeks episode last night and could not believe all the drama surrounding a baby shower. I agree why wasn't her mom and sister throwing the shower for her? To invite your ex and then get upset when even her mother and aunt expressed that was not the best idea. I would not be surprised if Nova grew up to have a negative view of men with the way her family talks around her. If the rumors are true that Chelsea is seriously considering leaving the show after this season I can see MTV giving Brianna more air time and slowly phasing out Chelsea because let's face it she does not bring the "drama" they need and want for the ratings.

There is no storyline with Chelsea. I'm sure after the "wedding", she will be done. What else is there to tell? She has a man who she has started a new family with, and he fully accepts Aubree. Adam doesn't even have unsupervised visitations, and none of his interactions are even filmed. Her scenes are always in the car driving to/from Aubree's school. Or someone else's house.

Very true. I think she has been staying on for the money and maybe she likes or did like being on tv. On another note I still do not get why Brianna and her family think Luis should have brought her a gift to the shower. If he is the childs father no telling how involved he will or not be but if he is involved as he said he will be he will have things for the baby at his home. Are they going to buy things for him to have there? I doubt it. Not saying there is anything wrong for him to contribute to or give Brianna things also but he does not have to.

These women ALL have issues with men, and NONE of them have men who stick around for them. At some point, maybe they will figure out the issue isn't the MEN, but rather, the way they push away those men.

Totally agree, and I wish her well. She is stable, living a happy healthy life and has good relationships with nearly all the adults in her and her children's lives. The only exception is Adam, who isn't being filmed and is basically a non-issue this season. I think Chelsea realizes that Aubree has reached an age where she watches the show (or could watch) and would hear the negative things Chelsea would say about Adam. Chelsea is far from perfect, but she has generally made a good faith effort to avoid talking crap about Adam with Aubree in earshot, especially given how shitty a person he is. So again, no "drama" to make up a storyline. I think that's why they've reached so far to trot out the "Aubree is being ignored and having a hard time adjusting to life with Watson" storyline. I have a 6-year-old, and we had a baby this spring. The negative things they've shown Aubree doing this season are exactly like the behavior my DD showed. It's normal, not indicative of a deeper problem, and truthfully not all that interesting.
