Hoping for a McLean “upset” (not really an upset since YT isn’t dominant this year). McLean only lost by a goal last time they played YT so anything can happen.

Man, I hate being right all the time. What can I say, it’s a gift. And it had nothing to do with Coach Tran not being there. YT just lost too much talent to graduation. But they’ll continue to be contenders in future years.

Hoping for a Madison State Championship. They are so due as long as they don’t choke.

Based on the upsets of Alexandria over Woodson and McLean over Yorktown, I read these as only 1 of Robo/Woodson and 1 of Yorktown/Madison make states.

1 of Falls Church/W Springfield/Alexandria make it and likely 1 of McLean/Westfield make it.

The brackets are correct but Maxpreps did not change the year to 2026.

Not according to the brackets on MaxPreps. YT is 2 seed and paired in Madison's half of bracket...
