I hear it’s generally 50/50 since their concern is not about the record. Good for development and they will be seen by the girls’ coach/school of interest especially when they are watching.
It will be interesting to see if this holds true for Capital for 2028's this summer. They are not in the top 2 brackets for the tournaments that matter due to their ranking. It is a delicate balance for coaches to give equal playing time but also be competitive in games so that the team is in the top brackets where most coaches will be watching. Capital is still a good brand name and coaches go to lower brackets to see players they are interested in, but if equal playing time will cause the team to fall further in the rankings they may have to reconsider.
Not in the top bracket…downhill from there. All of the Capital cheerleaders have been screaming about college recruiting and A brackets. Now you are saying they are in the B bracket and the next person says “who cares, nobody is looking”. The excuses just don’t stop, it is comical at this point.
Can anyone explain to me how all of this talk of the 2027 and 2028 teams is relevant to the 2029s? I don't get it.
29s are deciding where to play in high school so some on this board are trying to say that Capital is no longer a top club because of the current record of the 27 and 28 teams
So, then go with the brand new club? Still not understanding.
It is a debate - go with new club with no history but a name or go with Capital that has history and a name

How would they know, Capital doesn't even know, it seems.Anonymous wrote:Capital posted "seeking experienced and motivated coaches". Tryouts are in two months. Any of the capital fans know who the coach will be for the 2029s.

Yes, Capital used to have some highly ranked teams for recruiting. Used to.Anonymous wrote:Which is why accurate info on where Capital players have been recruited is important.

We're talking about the future and what it holds for players in the last several Capital classes and beyond. This is the 2029 thread.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:The 27's are in the same boat, and probably on an outer field as a kicker. Colgate here we come!
Capital has one player on Colgate. Capital also has players on Northwestern, BC and UNC (Hero’s has none) and these players receive more playing time than M&D Black players. Capital has players on other top 25 teams beyond these programs, including Yale, Virginia, Princeton, Hopkins, JMU, Penn, Michigan, Brown, Denver, UMass and Harvard.
Capital enthusiasts have been gaslighting the MDDC team since the thread started, as they identified them as the top 2029 team and the one they wanted to go after to poach. Meanwhile, they've been ignoring that their brand and model has been taking a significant hit the last several years, playing out now as they've been told it would, as they cheerlead on the 2029 thread for getting-further-away top Capital teams from years before that. Tit for tat.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:How does Capital work play time?
