Walz is funny and a natural at retail politics. He went to a donut shop this week in rural Pennsylvania and threw in a joke about how he didn't have any trouble ordering donuts. They've already won people on policy. They need to rally the base to vote, and convert some of the people whose level of cognition and attention span is such that they think Donald Trump is anywhere near tolerable.
