I think McLean should be at 7, above Cosby and Hayfield. But, I think the 1-6 is spot on.
1) Robo- Every team below them has some serious questionable games or opponents
2) Battlefield- looks like they played last Thur/Fri and are 3-0
3) Freedom- 8-0 is 8-0
4tie) Hayfield 7-0 is 7-0
4tie) Langley 3 less goals over 2 games last week and they would have been out of the top 10
6) McLean- came close but failed both tough tests so far
7) Cosby- Only real test at Atlee and they came up 2 short, same as Madison
8) Madison- 5-5 is .500 ball. Its not about potential or injury but what the scoreboard says
9) Yorktown- at 4-3 should be above Madison but for 1 in OT, could be above Langley but for 1 in OT too.
10) No one stands out- but could be a 5 way tie among teams.
Before you get all up in arms (and do I care NO). I am more of a believer in ranking based on W/L and a snapshot of today, and I mean today what is the team doing right now and what is the record, therefore my rankings can swing week to week. I don't like to factor in "potential", past results, injury or much else. H2H and total record is a LARGE deciding factor to me. Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda is not factored in here.
Parcells has a famous quote the encapsulates his philosophy about excellence which says, “You are what your record says you are.” Results speak for themselves.
While in life the little things do matter, you are ultimately judged by the results you deliver. Your friendly disposition, generosity, good heart, while all incredibly important, are meaningless to the extent you don’t deliver the results.
Most people let others and society define themselves. I believe true character and purpose comes from defining oneself. Bill Parcells knew it was only his record each year that mattered. All past success and titles were just that: past. What truly mattered was the very moment in which he lived and produced results.

If you are what your record says you are, why isn’t south lakes ranked ahead of madison?

1. Robo
2. Freedom- Beat riverside.
3. Madison-If they were healthy and lost those games, they’d be a lot lower.
4. Langley- What a week, left the Mclean fools crying about private school poaching(it happens to everyone and has been for as long as I can remember)
5. Yorktown
6. Mclean
7. Cosby- lost to atlee by two
8. Battlefield- heard they play in fortnite tournaments the first two months
9. Hayfield
10. West Po
HM- Oakton, South Lakes, Westfield, Tilly- One of these teams will end up 2nd in the Concorde, they can have the 10 spot cause nobody deserves it right now
Also HM- Woodson, SoCo
The only thing funny about you is the amount of bias you have and the lack of Lacrosse knowledge.
Can’t tell which teams parent you are, but enlighten me with your lacrosse knowledge. Clearly your knowledge of capitalization and when to use it is not quite on par. Who did you want ranked higher?
Ladies, cool it please.
Thought the retort was fair, posted rankings for y’all and I got some parent who’s never played yappin at me about my lacrosse knowledge. At least offer something constructive. Probably the same guy who declared Mclean better than Langley after their heroic one goal moral victory against robo.
McLean didn’t beat Robo. They lost by one. You are clearly a Langley parent with limited knowledge unlike the poster who gives us awesome and unbiased rankings every Monday.
Buddy. Read. 1 goal *moral* victory. Implying that they lost but their fans act like they won. Sarcasm can be tough to pick up on sometimes, I suppose you Mclean parents aren’t quite as quick as what I’m used to at Langley.

LOL, this is true.^^^^^ except I think it’s a kid, not a parent.
This one sounds insufferable.
And OP, if no one else wants to step forward, I’ll be your huckleberry. I played, I coached (boys and girls) and I’ve been a player parent (boys and girls). Let’s see going on close to 35-40 years now.
FYI- you are very light on analysis, but very heavy on hype, so you got that going for ya.
