Overall I thought the officiating, while not great, didn't impact the game.
We all agree on the shot clock, but given SR's history stalling I loved watching them have to watch the game slip away.
SR might be the better team, but if they let teams win 2 draws for every 1 they control they are going to be in trouble.

No excuses, but in a three goal game there were two incorrect calls by the officials that led directly to Visi goals. The MoCo refs are terrible - Rec grade and overwhelmed by the HS girls game and thats a general comment of what I've constantly seen over the years and not specific to this game.
The other general comment is that the ISL needs to have a shot clock. It's better for the game, it's the standard for college men and women, HS boys and girls in Balto, and boys down here and at this point there is no excuse for ISL and WCAC girls to not play with one.

What calls? This game seemed far better on the official front than most actually. The official issue is real; but have also seen it benefit SR many times in the past. Two calls did not decide this particular game when SR did not have possession for most of 3&4Q. When they did have chances, they quite simply did not capitalize on them. Visi also could have easily scored more, including at the end of the game to have the GD bigger, but they chose not to do it. Fully agree a shot clock is important, but there are maybe 3-4 quality teams in the ISL and that seems the bigger issue in getting a shot clock implemented.
