I watched the video. They both have similar tan color flip flops.

If they had the same or similar foot size, it's possible that they even shared flip flops and wore whichever ones were convenient at the moment.

Brian is apparently OCD. Keeping his sandals outside the van, even while moving a body, is completely consistent with his history.

A white make can travel and live temporarily most places in the world without attracting too much attention. The local authorities don’t care as long as the guy isn’t drugging openly, fomenting political unrest, or preying on kids someone might care about.

They often have to surface eventually because at some point it becomes hard to live totally off the grid. But the trick is to make sure that people are still tracking the right things. An Interpol warrant isn’t going to help unless he actually gets arrested, I think. I mean, do cording banks, paypal, venmo etc. check for Interpol warrants? He probably already has a fake ID of some sort.

I just rewatched the body cam footage of their traffic stop and thought they were definitely Brian’s. You can clearly see her flip flops while she’s sitting in the police car, and they don’t look like the ones by the van. They look more like the ones Brian is wearing.

On her video, when she comes out of the tent there is a pair of tan flip flops right in front of the entrance. Brian on the video is sitting on the yoga mat with his pair of flip flops behind him.
