I usually carry something handmade I bought at a fair trade store or similar. I don’t really care what that says about me.

Yep. My sister works in academia but spouse is in biglaw. Carries cuyana and similar for work . Uses npr bag for groceries and errands.

Ha! DH is in big law and I’m an academic who uses an LV Epi Neverfull. Field also matters. Law and business schools mean more expensive bags.

I have an insert in my YSL shopper. It has a croc print which I love but most people don't think its a luxury bag.

I love it. I have an insert so I can find stuff but even at my age I may not have diapers in it, I do have a lot of stuff in it (in case others need things, tissues, hand sanitizer, two different perfume sprays, rain hat, extra shopping bag…)

The only other bag I want is a Chanel Boy Bag and I'm waiting for Christian Louboutin to make a bag with the red rubber bottom that I will want to carry. These are goods I can carry into my old lady phase of life.

My wallet is still MK.

These threads are always an interesting anthropological study for me. I grew up very MC but am rich now. Outside of dCum, I would have no idea what any of these brands are except for Kate Spade because the street vendor knockoffs used to be so ubiquitous when I lived in NY, and there was that one bag that there was a Sex and the City episode about—I think that was a Birkin bag?
I guess people I know must be into this stuff but I honestly never would notice! Someone gave my 10 year old a Michael Kors purse but I doubt she fits the above stereotype!

Love their shoes especiallybut the bags are nice too. Good quality.The vara bags wmight look a little silly for women in their 40s bc of the little bows. The ferragamo studio bag is my work bag and it's held up well.

This is a fun thread. I love the Tumi backpack one- I am an architect and have a navy blue leather one because frankly when you are on a construction site, you need both hands free to point and tell the male contractors where they messed up! I do love a good tailored backpacks for my laptop because laptop bags are just hideous.
