It’s stems from a mistrust in government, a small assortment of people that I know are in the black homeschool community, black nationalists, Christian fundamentalists, a woman at my job who is regular DC native in her 50’s, we are both scientist with a master’s degree. A PhD mom and masters of engineering dad with 5 kids. I’m biracial and two of my sisters are unvaccinated. My dad has a degree from Wharton and he seriously called me for advice about if he should get it.

I really think some cash incentives or other bribe would help. It reminds me of the way it’s hard to get this demographic to vote. They are self centered and often hard to get to be pro-social or communal. It’s easier to convince older people and people with kids because they more readily see the benefits of collective action.
