The only potential issue I would be worried about is whether it will ride up or into the butt crack as the wearer walks, sits, and swims. If it's sized appropriately and the material is not too thin, this may not be an issue. But I would recommend test driving it at home first by doing 10 jumping jacks or something and then checking the mirror.

And in none of those cases is it appropriate for you to walk around in front of them with your butt hanging out of your suit.
+1 A family pool? Nope. It would cause a problem at our country club pool. I don't think the board would do anything but I do think there would be some social ostracization occurring because OP was wearing it at a family pool.
Family pool? Only if you don't care that some will be talking about you. Resort? Sure. Vacation, yes. Right or wrong, most moms want to look like moms at community pools, not like the "hot mom" that everyone talks about. And if you want to be the hot mom then you better be hot.
I'm so not getting this vibe from op.
At the pool I seriously don't think about whether I look like a mom or a hot mom. I wear something comfortable that doesn't make me look pregnant, and isn't too big in the chest so I can bend over now and then. Sure there are weirdos out there who try too hard. But most moms I know, even the super fit ones, just care about comfort and wearing a swimsuit that looks all right on their bodies.
You really think the suit bottom that OP showed us looks "comfortable"?

Why does she need to cover up when walking around?
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Also agree that the summersalt suit will be frumpy on anyone with a midsection. If you are as thin as the model and the suit is a bit loose on you, it will be ok.
But judging by the number of people wearing summersalt at my community pool, it is an acceptable and very common swimsuit.
None of these suits are frumpy for middle aged women. You people judging frump are as bad as those judging skimpy.
First one says "I'm trying to cover my spare tire"

God, the internalized misogyny is so depressing.
I would be a lot harder on a dad who showed up at a community pool wearing a speedo.
