They didn't charge him with resisting arrest. So he didn't resist arrest. They know they are in the wrong.

I've got money on the fact thhat the PP defending the cop is a cop. he sounds like a guy I went to scho with who became a cop and considers himself a righteous cop and that everyone is a perp.
