Going without Meghan will help him talk to William alone. It could be a chance for the brothers to smooth some things over. They were very close to their grandfather.

That would be an incredibly stupid move if they did. It would make the BRF look terrible and affirm Meghan's claim that she was not treated well.
Of course they're not going to do this. However, I seriously doubt Meghan will go. She's very pregnant and it's a pandemic. They've just announced that they don't want the public to gather and participate. Harry might fly over though.
An aside - I met Prince Philip about 12 years ago. He was incredibly kind and funny. Very charming.

He can't though. The Queen is the institution. They are one and the same. You're American and not part of the institution so it's fine that you don't see it that way but it's despicable that Harry does not.
I'm not the PP you're responding to, but, given that he likely holds the monarchy responsible for his mother's death, I think it's understandable for HIM. I'm sure his grandmother, of all people, understands his particular psychology on this.
