My inlaws only buy white cars because they think the dirt is less noticeable. They are completely wrong of course.

Because it was the only tolerable color in the trim that had all the other features I wanted.

I would not have chosen white, but given that it was the least-worst choice for the car that was otherwise perfect, I'm happy with its increased visibility.

I HAD a white car-had bought used, it was white. Moved to Fl and was promptly rear ended and totalled. I quickly and for cash (as I was building a new home) bought a black car with a black interior...it gets soooo hottttttttttttt. Runs great! When I open the door after work to get in, heat waves come out and singe my eyebrows lol.

Next car will be lighter colored.

White cars tend to scream “privileged” IMO.

A lot of MLMs require their representatives to rent white vehicles for this purpose like Arbonne. ✨

My white option was the premium option, same with DH’s truck. I like white with black leather, black wheels and accents, blacked out windows.

Interestingly, I've rented many (maybe not hundreds but several dozen) over the years and never had a white one. I tend to rent (what they consider) the premium or sport cars though.

I do LOVE white cars though. I like light interiors too. I really like the white tesla with white interior.

I've had golden beige (I know, I never see this color anymore, but it was a honda accord), green, silver, white, pearl white.

What a weird question. I like my white car. What is the “cool” color supposed to be? Black looks like an Uber driver and the rest are fine but white looks clean.

This matters when you’re creeping, or running from the law.


I know someone who had multiple DUIs by the time he was 40, lost his license for 20 years, and always drove a white car to work because he maintained cops will never pull over a white car. He made his girlfriend, who had chronic MH issues, the legal owner of the cars so they wouldn't pull up his name on license checks.

I like my 11 year old white car. It’s clean, subdued, and classic. It represents the life style I pursue.
