You must have been here ages ago. We find it quite diverse. My kids have been enlightened to many holidays because the diverse parents are allowed to come in and share about their cultures, which we really appreciate.

Anonymous wrote:And if you read this teachers Twitter feed, it also talks about “American Expansion” and how amazing it was that we “acquired all this land in only 70 years!” Omg, so tone deaf
Also I would not want my kids photos being used on a teachers personal Twitter feed that is open to the world to see.

It’s not necessarily anti-Semitic but it definitely is pretty close. Either way, not a great look for new families considering the school.
Honestly, I think you are waaaaaay overthin' it . most people don't think of slavery of the people of Israel when they see someone in a Pharaoh get up.
They think of the 80's pop song " king tut , funky tut " or possibly ancient cultures now long defunct
It may even be that the HOS enjoys any excuse to put on what is basically a Drag Queen outfit- complete with heavy black eye liner
All are for more common connections to make than linking something to Passover with some jab that NO ONE gets....

Seriously, lets stop worrying about those pesky Jews and get back to racial insensitivities that people actually care about.
Those Jews should walk a mile in a black persons shoes before they complain about a superhero costume

Are you actually Jewish or just another Goyisha savior telling us how to feel?

Ridiculous. Pharaohs are not automatically thought of in regards to Jewish people. When I think of a pharaoh I do not think of the enslavement of Jewish people. Please stop. This is silly.
And how do you think Jews think of it? Are you also cool with Caucasians saying that, based on their experiences, comments towards Blacks aren't racist when many Blacks disagree?
Have you been paying attention? All the Jews who have commented (myself included) seem to be saying NBD. Don't tell us how we should feel and quit the pseudo-woke outrage on our behalf. There is a ton of real antisemitism out there. Focus on that.
Anonymous wrote:This is absolutely mind boggling! Here are a bunch of non Jews telling us that this is offensive and insensitive and tone deaf while most Jewish posters say that it’s nothing of the sort. What the hell is going on here? We have real antisemitism to deal with. Synagogues being defaced. Males who cannot wear a kippah in certain areas out of fear of being attacked. This is NOT antisemitic.
