Thats going to be the extent of my partay. Will continue to socialize with friends (some vaxxed, some not) outside unless all the group have vaccines. If its too difficult to tell, we will be outside. I will continue to wear a mask in the same way I have done until now - in most situations except distanced outdoor exercise, putting it on when someone is close. I especially dont want to cause additional worry for someone who has not been vaxxed by coming close to them without my mask. They have no idea if I have a vaccine or not, the science on being a carrier isnt fully out, and it's moral support. We need to get through this as a country and keep the pressure up on politicians that everyone who wants a vaccine gets one as soon as possible. And then yes, we need to keep the pressure up to vaccinate kids once safe vaccines are developed.
Anyone who is that worried about catching covid passing someone for two seconds on a walk has issues. Sorry, I’ve played that game when rates were high and it was cold but pretty much over that now. I’ll continue with most of the other things you describe though.
I'm glad to hear that. However, until everyone who wants a vax can get one - wearing a mask in proximity to strangers is very basic respect. I also don't want to give cover to unvaccinated folks, by norming not mask wearing. It should be the overall norm in "mixed society" until we are through this. I want summer camps and summer fun to open up again, don't you? It's a few more months to be respectful and show protection for our fellow humans by following best practices in situations where we have vaccinated and unvaccinated folks mixing.

Enjoy your COVID while a lot of Marylanders struggle to get vaccinated.

It is most certainly not "over" and idiots like hogan are why it has and will continue to drag out longer than necessary.

- There's still a mask mandate statewide. So, I'd go pull your masks out of the trash if I were you.
- Even lifting the capacity restrictions, there are still distance requirements. Restaurants will still have to limit capacity to allow for 6 feet of distance between customers.
- Localities are still free to impose stricter requirements.
This is a stupid move, but not quite as catastrophically stupid as it seems.
+1
I think it's premature, and it will suck if it backfires and causes a surge, but at least they didn't lift the mask mandate like some states.
