And this guy's apology acted like this was a youthful mistake? He was 39 when he used these slurs. I'm more than five years younger than that and I know better.

Absolutely disgusting. Apparently Jeopardy didn't vet this guy at all.

I'm so frustrated they've ruined the show. I used to watch this with my grandma! I was in high school when Ken did his big run and my mom and I tuned in every night. No way I could do that with my son with this creep as host.

Considering I got into Jeopardy again during my maternity leave, the idea of watching a host who fired women for being pregnant is pretty abhorrent. I might see if I can finish Matt Amodio's run then I'm out for a while.

Trebek was making $16.5M according to the NYT article above. But it’s not so much about the money, it’s a REALLY easy job. You basically only work two Wednesdays a month like six months of the year.

That’s a very different role. I can’t name any price is right contestants but I can name several Jeopardy contestants.

But it shows that the show doesn’t have to be about the host even if he/she is a celebrity.
