Sure Jan. Because handling 400 student body is like handling a 89,000 student body.
Where tf do you people get your brains from?
With the 40% who chose hybrid being split in two groups, so 20% of student body in the building on any given day, its absolutely comparable to private school. In fact I guarantee that my local ES will be FAR emptier than St. Joe's or St. Theresa's which are in session 5 days a week for all students.
Why haven’t you applied for superintendent yet? LCPS needs one.
It’s your chance!!
Because that is a $hit job for $300k. Many many jobs in the area pay more than that for less stress and work. If we ever want to get someone good in the role, we need to get past the notion that $300k is a ridiculous salary when it is definitely not.

I am at a loss for adjectives to describe what LCPS plans to do to ditch metrics.
Like, literally nobody cringes seeing how they said August was dangerous and unsafe but now, with the worst it’s been since we closed a year ago to flatten the curve miraculously science doesn’t matter.
Ok.

Look, you seem really confused. Teachers will be vaccinated. Kids have the choice to stay home.
* I am not confused *
Teachers can be vaccinated . Yay!
My kids can’t. UNTIL THIS WEEK, it has been the case that above 200/100k and 10% PCR was not safe due to spread. Suddenly we can be 4x higher than the first and 5.5% elevated behind the second and it’s ok? No. Yet if I feel unsafe MY KIDS HAVE TO SWITCH CLASSES. That’s insane. I’m not confused; I am allowed to be annoyed by this bait and switch.

Please avoid speaking truthful factual evidence and common sense. We want schools open no matter what. At the expensive of people’s health. Why is it so hard for you to grasp this!??!

By this logic why haven’t kids been in all winter? There was no need to pause back in December when numbers weren’t this high if we can waive them now. It’s about public trust. If they don’t have faith in their own plans and numbers , and change them constantly, how can we?
