Yes - it’s what I think of as “hair wings”! So bizarre just somewhat stiff hair to either side of the face, with such a 2D look. Not meant for 3 dimensional view, just for photos from the front. Whether natural or extensions, it is a strange look but not uncommon.
That said, I am over 40 with longish (or maybe medium length?) hair, but mine is naturally curly so a bit different from this situation. There is nothing wrong with longer hair as you age. Incredibly long hair that does nothing isn’t very stylish at any age, young or old. I will never understand the hairdo that says “I can grow hair” haha.
To be fair, it’s a big deal for an older woman to be able to grow that much hair, especially if it’s thick. I get that some people find it obnoxious or ugly but it is impressive.

That said, her hair seems oddly immobile, laid in two perfectly waved planks down over her chest. It looks applied, like paper-doll hair rather than like follicles that actually grew out of her skull. If she didn't style it so ridiculously, it wouldn't create such a jarring effect.

First, hanging hair with a suit looks wrong and is unprofessional/accentuates downward lines on one's face. Secondly, my hair would get caught in the wheels of my chair if I didn't do something with it. Third, she could keep her hair down if she pulled it back and secured it. Having her hair hang down in front makes it look like she's a 'ho waiting for 50 bucks to be plunked down on a dresser. It just looks very un-businesslike and she should know better. And anyone who has ever done REAL work knows hair falls forward into the work and into your face if not secured.
What, now?

I mean, she's not much different than a ho waiting for 50 bucks to be plunked down on a dresser, amirite?
