There are many more qualified students than those well served by HS options. Walls benefits from its students more than its students benefit from Walls.

Most are reporting that Walls is in much worse shape now that he's gone. You, seemingly an insider, disagree?

This is an anonymous website so there is no way to prove who I am but I am quite knowledgeable about Walls, it’s priorities and how it is run as a school. You can choose to believe me or not. Trogisch has some good qualities as a leader but the school is the opposite of a tight ship.

"Is" or "Was?" Is the school better run now that Trogisch is gone, worse run, or about the same?

This is a hard question to answer because we have been virtual since he was removed (no, I don’t count CARES classrooms and 20 kids in the entire building as school). I will let you know once we have been back in the building for a few months.

Trogisch was canned on October 7, 2020: so you got to see him perform during COVID, in comparison to his replacement perform during COVID. There ought to be enough comparable data there to judge their relative performance. It is worth noting that Trogs was given the boot a day after he raised concern about the lack of ventilation at F-S, and what do you know, he was proven 100% correct about that.

I thought perhaps you wanted a comparison in a normal school year but okay. During COVID nothing really changed in the school when he was removed. The rest of the year was the same as the fall this year. But again, I would rather wait and judge the new leadership based on a year when kids are in physical school.

None of this changes the fact that Trogisch did not run a tight ship. That has nothing to do with Ms. Isaac’s leadership skills. Walls was not a tight ship. I am actually surprised anyone who had a kid attend the school thinks that. Just attend a back to school night or graduation. And that’s just minor examples.

In 2016 and 2017, Walls produced half a dozen National Merit semifinalists.

At this rate, I'm guessing that within a few years they'll be back down to 1 or 2, or zero.

Few stakeholders will care.
