What even is this? What about William and Mary? You think ODU is better?

And your daughter comitted where? Again, you guys think your kid is the one. Theyre probably not.
Neither is yours. And yes the 2020 class was better. But don’t make excuses for this year’s seniors. They should be better based on how the FCV parents puff up their chests on these boards. Not impressive if you can’t place one kid in a graduating class in a top 50 school.

I know of one U17 team that has four kids over 6 foot. There are plenty of 5'10 kids.

Thats taking all the reported heights on rosters. Ever notice there are no 5'5 and a quarter, 5'5 and one tenth? Its because it all rounded up to the highest number. 5'5 becomes 5'6....even when its 5'5. So actually, 5'5 is closer to the average. That is one inch above the national average.
As I said before, the majority of players will be at or near (inch or two) of the national average.
3/4 of the field players are 5’-6” or taller.
Yes. Really 5'5 and change. One inch above the national average. Now take out the postions where height is an advantage, goalie and defender, and do another average and you will find that most players are within an inch or two of the national average.
ECNL girls around NOVA and RU are quite tall. My DD has played against some very tall girls. It's no wonder ECNL gets a lot of looks because I have definately seen girls far taller than average for almost all positions. except maybe forward
I've been involved with ECNL for over 10 years and most are average....besides Defenders. Tall strikers are almost not existent.
I litterally just said "except forward". I get goalies have to be tall but I have seen some monsters in ENCL and midfielders. Well above average to top 5% easy
A monster in the midfield? Doubtful Maybe a 6 which is more of a defender type player.
Think they are saying monster goalies and above average midfielders. I've seen every NOVA and RU team for ECNL and they are right.
I'm kid has played them all....for the past 6 years....most are average to slightly above (5'4 -5'7). I've seen some big 6 foot plus defenders. Most are 5'9-5'10.
its crazy. there are u15/16 goalies way over 5ft 10

Girls mature faster. Most are done growing by 16
Yikes, based on what he said, a U15 is 14, over 5-10 and still has two years of growth left![]()

Yes, women who play professional tend to be taller. Once again, they have gone through a filter and tend to be the best of the best. The best of the best tend to have 9 of the 10 most desired qualities.
However, please site your source where shorter players get injured more
You need a source for real? Pugh and Lavelle for one example. Two of the shortest on the uswnt roster. Bottom 10% of team in height at 5’4”. Agree so far?
Both are often injured right? Limited minutes, frequently not starting games but brought in second half for a spark...still agree?
Just watch the sport.
