It is if she's the only one taking care of the dog.
Rehoming the dog still needs to be a family decision.
So she can choose not to take care of the dog any longer. Don’t feed it, walk it, bathe it. Let’s see if the family picks up her slack. If not, the dog gets rehomed.
I'm currently dog less, but I love dogs too. I would get one but but I'm out of the house for over 9 hours a day and can't afford to pay someone to come and walk my dog during the day. But dogs are great!Anonymous wrote:I think some people are just cut out for dogs and some are not. It’s okay. I would never take a dog to a random shelter - instead, I would only lovingly surrender it back to where it came from.
We have a 7 month old puppy and a 3 year old dog. It’s a ton of work, but they truly make us happy and that’s why it’s worth it, period. Sometimes I think about all of the dogs who don’t have families who love them and neglect them. If I think about it too hard, I get really sad so I just love my dogs as hard as I can.
