There was a girl in my class named Mignon (like the fillet) when I was a kid. I thought that name would be a sure fire ticket to a sophisticated, globe trotting lifestyle with Paris as a home base. I hoped that we wouldn’t know each other as adults so she wouldn’t know I stole her name for my baby.

I thought that Diana was the most beautiful name in the world when I was growing up. I didn't name my DD Diana.
