I don’t understand why people with this wealth just pass it onto their kids. It only harms them. I have a friend who lives pretty frugally and is saving to set her kid up with a trust fund so he can have whatever career he wants. I have several trusts. They came due for me at certain ages and milestones. I was never told how much they were for. In 12th grade when I said something to my father about paying for college he said "we'll work something out - don't worry." I graduated from college and grad school. I have worked full time my entire adult life except when I was in grad school. I do not have any tattoos.
