I thought so, too…until the kayaking episode when he wore black leggings. He has short skinny legs like a petite chain smoking women.

Charmaine has to be carrying the smallest twins ever.

Anonymous wrote:Some of the worst dialogue writing I’ve ever seen not on a non-student written/acted middle/high school play— no wonder the acting seems so bad. Very few could make those lines seem believable? The awkwardness painfully palpable. For some inexplicable reason, though, I just keep (binge) watching it. If I were having to wait a week between episodes, I doubt I’d have gotten past the first couple episodes. Why am I doing this to myself?

Anonymous wrote:So I binge watched all three seasons while my H and kid were away last week. My mom had seen all the episodes and I was talking about it with her the other day and she said: It's like the old soap operas. I realized she was exactly right...Virgin River is like old school soap operas. I watched Santa Barbara in high school, All My Children in college. Virgin River has the quick turnaround story lines, the okay/sketchy acting, the cheesy local events (Lumberjack games?!?). I feel like Susan Lucci would have fit in perfectly in this show (as Muriel maybe?). In terms of mindless entertainment it was exactly what I needed during a week alone.
