She’s really that big. It’s shocking she doesn’t get help. If she were an alcoholic people would tell her to get help, but apparently eating yourself to death is different. Not saying you can’t be big and healthy , I’m all for some curves, but morbid obesity is no joke.
This is exactly what drives me crazy. Her size should not be celebrated.
How is it being celebrated? As a PP said above, there are millions of obese people in the world, and you are seeing one on TV. Are you saying that the mere fact of her being on TV is a celebration?
It’s that no character addresses it as a problem. If she was addicted to drugs or alcohol, they would intervene. But according to the story it’s okay (and beautiful) to be obese. That bothers me. I just want her illness to be part of the story.

They were so clearly in the friend zone, it was cringey to see them kiss. I’m hoping they realize it was just a spontaneous thing and didn’t mean anything serious...
I LOVED the ending where we see Randall is actually an excellent golfer. That really threw me!! I found him very believable as an awkward golfer, especially given his childhood aversion to sports. That was a very clever twist that I didn’t see coming.
I’m bored with Kate and Toby.
Wait Randall was pretending to be a bad golfer with the Councilman? I totally missed that. Why would he do that?
To appeal to the other councilman’s sense of superiority and need to take Randall under his wing. He deliberately acted like he couldn’t play golf so that the other guy would feel protective of him and ultimately want to help him out. He was appealing to the older guy’s ego - and it worked.
The best story since the season opener. Randall isn’t just booksmart.
+1
I was completely surprised by that twist! Didn’t see it coming at all.
