Does he view women like shiny new sports cars? Are most men like that?
How can you judge based off the scant description you have provided here? The only negative personality trait you listed is "less intelligent" - but maybe she is caring, loving, sweet, personable. Even less intelligent, less accomplished women deserve love.

Wild card for sure. Over 35, divorced, family baggage, not from money or attended any prestigious schools...
I’m sure his family is thrilled with his choice. Though their opinion doesn’t matter much.
It’s well established that he suffers from mental illness. You need different traits to attract a wealthy man with mental illness than you do an emotionally healthy wealthy man. For the latter type, you need to be in the same social circles. If you’re not born wealthy, you can get there if you’re smart, work hard and end up in the same professional circles.
Meghan and Harry both come from incredibly, INCREDIBLY dysfunctional families. Harry’s dad was openly cheating on his mother the entire marriage. His mother had me taking illness, threw herself down the stairs, had her own affair, treated the boys as confidants instead of children, openly disparaged their father on TV, etc. Meghan’s messes up dad and half siblings and crazies.
Yeah that’s a sound foundation right there.
This is true; they both have hillbilly elegy levels of divorce and dysfunction in their families.

Rules are different if the wealthy man is (a) extremely stupid, and (b) a mangina.

I think most men are like that. As long as she's hot, acts sweet, and enthusiastic in bed, they don't care how intelligent or accomplished she is.
Anonymous wrote:I don’t understand why you would even want a wealthy man. It seems like there would be so much pressure to be perfect, have the perfect house, wear the perfect clothes, and have the perfect social life.
I guess that you wouldn’t have to work, and you could hire people to help you take care of your children and your home. But working, taking care of my children, and creating a home is what gives married life purpose and meaning. Clothes, parties, and designer kitchens are the fluff on the side. Why would you purposefully look for a life where you cut out the meaning and focus on the fluff?

Be wealthier than he is.
Men generally like to marry women who have more than they do to marry.
Men also choose women who have less... as side chicks or long term “play wives” in so called long term NSA relationships.
Truth hurts.
What bizarro world are you living in? Men generally do not grade a girlfriend on the size of her paycheck at proposal time.
Not at proposal time, because they will have figured that out by then
Don't get a fancy college degree at an expensive school if you have to take out loans to do so. That is the new anti-dowry and men will run away
Do change your religion to his
I don’t believe a man wrote this.
Think about it. What independently wealthy person wouldn’t want to double or triple their assets, all other things being equal (looks, education, etc) . When I think of most people I know who married after 25/30, the female generally was better positioned financially (whether that be a trust fund, her own financial independence, or access to inherited wealth.)
