Not at all. Either they work it out, or compromise. If not divorce. Cheating is what horrible people do, and chance bringing wackos into their lives.
There is no “working it out” or “compromise” if a wife cuts off sex. If she can’t handle the fact he is sleeping with the neighbor, well she should have just divorced him instead of “announcing there would be no more sex”. It was her decision to stay married, so deal with his solution to your problem.

99% of the time the real problem is:
1. You (her husband) are not attractive
2. She is attracted to someone else
3. Both of the above
She's not going to tell you either of those things. She expects you to just figure it out.
As a man, you can fix problem #1. Sometimes, but not always, that also fixes problem #2. If it doesn't, at least you've done what you need to do to prepare for your next woman.
Usually it's a lack of communication or not resolving issues. If there's resentment it follows into the bedroom.
Why communication and compromise take precedence over sex.
