Mine plays DA, and at this level you can play or you can't. You either play fast with your head up or get overwhelmed by the speed of the game.
The PT players come in and practice and get overwhelmed most of the time...but they get the opportunity to practice 1-2 times per week at the faster pace and better quality.
Every local DA has PT players. Arlington and FCV have second teams with PT players. MU will have multiple local options for second teams. PT is a good option for player who may not be quite ready yet for the level of play of DA but who are motivated to get better. If you check game reports on US soccer DA website all three teams have used PT players in recent games.
Can you provide that link for the game FCV used a PT player.

Got me...found a single GK! I suppose if you count GK then FCV has used a couple. GK's are a harder commodity to hoard.

This is actually comical that you think they all left because they were not good enough. How about they left because they lost all of their games, the majority by 6+ goals. The majority of the 06 team is made up of players who cannot play at this level which is why they are losing so badly.
LOL. So they are good enough but cannot play at this level.
2 of them moved to other ECNL/DA teams that can actually compete so yes good enough to no longer want to play with whoever would pay that fee just to say their kid was DA/ECNL.
The same teams that crushed their old team? Who's spot did they take? What a great story and warning for us all.![]()

While that us true, the probability of PT players getting into games will be greater if the DA rosters are limited to 16 or less as MU is supposedly doing. As soon as the base roster gets to 18 or beyond there is no room for PT players. At FCV PT's or DP's never play.

Does not sounds like DA or ECNL is for you. They all do this and is the point of PT or DP status.
