Say it with me, everybody: “thoughts and prayers.”

NRA has laid off more than 60 employees

When you realize that it’s not so much the guns as it is the symbol of what they really want to protect - the patriarchy, no matter how stupid or corrupt the people are - it all makes sense. I see an “NRA” sticker and I see someone with doggedly regressive beliefs who wants nothing more than a strong white man (all of whom look curiously feminized - LaPierre, Trump, McConnell) to follow.

I see corporate lobbyists getting rich. The NRA is about selling guns and making money...nothing else.

That’s not what it represents to all the fools who fund them.

Given how they objectify women I'm not surprised.

The NRA has filed a suit against Ackerman McQueen that did all its marketing including NRA TV.

Turns out even the NRA thought NRA TV was “distasteful and racist.” Or claims it did.

In Ackerman McQueen’s counterclaim, it says the NRA was well aware of the ad firm’s spending and the messaging.

"Attorneys general in the state of New York and the District of Columbia are also conducting separate probes into alleged wrongdoing at the gun rights organization. These probes have a broader scope than the Senate report, which focuses on Russia."

Good. Take them all down.

Yep, bring down these gross old men.

At the very least President Warren will take away their non profit status.

The National Rifle Association was a 'foreign asset' to Russia in the period leading up to 2016 election, a Senate report finds.

The 77 page Senate report draws on contemporaneous emails and private interviews

An 18-month probe found that the NRA underwrote political access for Russian nationals Maria Butina and Alexander Torshin more than previously known — even though the two had declared their ties to the Kremlin.

One big takeaway: there's evidence that these two Russian nationals expressly spoke about their ties to the Kremlin -- and despite this the NRA was willing to facilitate their access in US political circles

And the NRA spent tens of thousands of dollars bringing hair and makeup artists around the country for Wayne LaPierre’s wife.
