in other words - HE is the one getting special treatment, not "Becky" - if charges were dropped and he admitted guilt as part of the deal that would be within the accepted practices of the prosecutor's office. but he's going around proclaiming his innocence and demanding an apology from Chicago PD.

The city of Chicago (rightfully, IMO) billed him for the overtime that went to the investigation of his fake ass story.

Well, he was able to mobilize such attention and police resources because he was famous (and black and liberal and gay).

Now he should pay the consequences.
