I'm 5'7 and my goal weight is 115-118. I do have to watch what I eat to maintain there. I also have to run at least 5 miles 5-6 times a week. I hate running but at least it's a relatively quick work out.
Any advice?
It's annoying all the people who say "just eat intuitively." If I don't count calories, I gain weight, like most people.

(Obvious sarcasm)

You are a size 6 at 205?
No. That pp was saying that when she reaches 150 she's a size 6.
Ahh, got it. But that is still probably an 8 or 10.
Uh.... no. I am 205 lbs and 5'6.5" and am a size 6. In fact, a size 6 is often times roomy on me!

Can you please explain to me why this is ridiculous? I know my body. What makes you think you’re an expert on MY body?
I'm sorry, I hope that you don't feel as if I was attacking you personally. With all sincerity, I'm quite positive that you are lovely both inside and out.
The obesity epidemic affects everyone in society on many different levels. Sizing that sends people the message that they are in a healthy weight range just to sell clothes is problematic. A size 8 today is a size 18 from the 1950s (sizes went up again last year).
The reason people have a hard time believing that size 6 is not the correct size for you is that, roughly, each clothing size covers a 10-15 lb range. Based on the comments here, most 6s seem to fall between 130 and 145. Of course, you could be an extreme outlier.
