Get the important terms of marriage in writing, with penalties defined up front. Just because the person you are dating (and thinking about marrying) goes to the gym 3X per week, eats healthy, maintains an attractive weight, and desires sex regularly.... throughout 2+ years of dating and a lengthy engagement (that was specifically intended to weed out any possible bait-and-switch) ...... does NOT mean that soon after the kids are born, suddenly it is fine gain 40 pounds and lose all interest in sex.

Marriage contracts should contain a mandatory prenup: gain 15 pounds, or sex drops to less than once per week, the non-offending partner may choose between a divorce in his/her favor, or open marriage for his/her side only.

14 months for a 36 count? At 63 we have no need for them but a box would only last about six months. We've been married 36 years.

I am the most recent poster. My kids are not particularly young. I still regret getting married and mistake pregnancies. I would be happier single. Not everyone enjoys motherhood. I will advise my kids not to marry and only have children if they can not imagine their life without them. For me, too much sacrifice and my life is in a completely different trajectory if I had not had them or married.
